Initially refusing to comment, but prodded to speak his mind, he went beserk, accusing Charter House of bias, alleging they took some “stupid” money from Fancy Gadam before giving him the award he thinks Fancy Gadam didn’t deserve.
He further cautioned the organizers of VGMA to expect a controversial song from him as to why he did not win the popular song category in yesterday’s event.
Yesterday Patapaa stormed out of the auditorium of the AICC in anger and disappointment over his loss of “his award” for the most popular song of the year to Tamale-based hit-maker Fancy Gadam who is very popular in the three Northern regions of Ghana.
I'm not saying what he alleged is true but i can understand his frustration. Oe corner spoil eveywhere in the year under review. Its craze got as far as Nigeria and other countries. I personally feel he deserved it more than Fancy Gadam.The reaction of the audience when Fancy's name was called says it all.

I personally think Amisty Patapaa deserves the award but as far voting is concern,Fancy Gadam had the award to his credit
Well me I see it to be that he said it out of hurt

We all should beware of this; is not who deserve it or not, the big problem here is: did you vote. You can't support someone with just a word of mouth, let your actions count too
